Where can I find the MAP sensor on a 2002 F150 4.6L and its wiring diagram
Check this wiring digram

You can also buy a wiring diagram from the following site..
http://www.ahdol.com/ford_wiring_diagrams.html
The map sensor is located on passenger side firewall next to evaporator housing
Reference is the one returning about 5 V sending signal has around 2.5 V.
Here you find the diagram for old F150 model, Map sensor should have remained the same
Check both sides, as here in UK drive is on the other side MAP sensor position can have been reversed, or follow vacuum hose, the MAP sensor must have vacum hose and three wires connection.
It will look like a small box.
Here is an example, this is for a different Ford Vehicle, but it look the same:

it either should be on the passenger side under the hood on the fire wall or along the fender under the hood.

All was good information but it neither shows me the location nor gives me a wiring diagram. The pictures shown looked like nothing under my hood. Mark
I am still tryong to locate the MAP sensor and its wiring diagra. Thanks, Mark
would you know which wire is the signal wire?
I see nothing on the passanger side firewall. However, on the driver side on the firewall next to the brake master cylinder there is a valve with two vacuum lines attached. There are two wires in the connector. Mark
There are 5 items that didn't come down with your post. I have checked the passangers firewall and found nothing. I did find a valve on the drivers side with some vacuum lines but thats all. I really need to find this thing and identify the signal wire. Mark
a wire that goes to the speed sensor is broken
