Changing mirrors to camping mirrors, 2009 silverado 2500 HD crew cab LTZ. got mirrors loose, but can't get cord out to unplug and plug in. appears that I have to take door panel off to remove cord and install new mirror and cord. I need to know how to remove door panel.

Remove any snap in covers
remove retaining screws
panel will then lift straight up
snap in cover around door release (open) handel
power windows etc.etc.
retaining screws aroun handel (under plastic snap trim)
around lower section etc. etc.

take positive and negative cables off of battery. now take battery hold down bolt out from back side of battery nearest to the cab. now lift battery out.
