YEP REMOVE TOP ENGINE COVER AND DISCONNECT INJECTORS ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR,REMOVE FUEL RETURN LINE FROM INJECTOR, REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR HIGH PRESSURE LINE, REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR RETAINER AND RETAINING BOLT,THEN REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR FROM THE CYLINDER HEAD. YOU NEED A FUEL INJECTOR EXTRACTOR TOOL 9075A ON TO INJECTOR AND CYLINDER HEAD.YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE ENGINE.

Fuel injectors

You typically don't need to remove your fuel injectors to clean them. Have you tried using a really strong fuel injector cleaning product? Also if you go to any garage, they can use a machine to clean you injectors for you, it is a lot easier and less expensive (if you screw something up) than doing it yourself.

Getting code po205 and po305 on 2003 grand jeep cherokee

Code 205 is for a problem with the injector on cylinder 5 and code 305 is for a miss or loss of power on the same cylinder.
I would check that injector next.

Jeep grand cherokee 2.7 diesel 2003 injector leaking.ps the one under the dash.( difficult to get at number 5 cyl.

Bad news buddy . Busy with one myself . The engine needs to come out , or at least a foot or so forward . You have to strip the whole nose of the vehicle . Remove the injector , cut the seat , install new washer in the head, and assemble .

93 jeep cherokee stalls on acceleration

sounds like it is not getting enough fuel. remove fuel filter to see if it is clogged. if no fuel to engine, when giving it gas it will stall out. if it is getting gas then the injectors may have dirt in them, use a good injector cleaner.
