There is no idle adjustment. That is controlled by the computer via the idle air solenoid. You can try cleaning the throttle body though. In fuel injected engines the throttle plate gets gummed up where in older cars it was kept clean by the gasoline flowing through it. Use any name brand carb cleaner that is marked "sensor safe" and spray around the perimeter of the throttle plate and also do that while running. After cleaning, it should run better. You can also clean off the cross wires inside the bore of the mass air flow sensor using a q tip and the same carb cleaner. Gunk buildup on the wires changes the way the sensor reads air flow.

I have a 93 crown victoria and it runs great but more often when I put it into park it doesnt want to start again. I have to reput it in park 3 or 4 times.

Bad PRNDL switch(park/reverse/neutral/drive/low).May be adjustable, but most likely the switch is bad.As a temporary/free solution, try starting in Neutral(USE YOUR PARKING BRAKE!)

1991 camry v6 - auto tranny shifts hard going into reverse and drive but otherwise shifting normal through the gears while driving.

Make sure your transmission fluid is fully topped up. If the transmission has to speed to build up fluid pressure there will be jolt as the drive is engaged from neutral. Make sure you fill up with the right fluid (use the transmission dip stick tube as the fill point). Also when measuring transmission fluid level have the engine running in 'park'.

Everytime I put my car i park it goes into reverse.

It sounds like you have a damaged shifter cable. It is an adjustable cable but if it is that far out of adjustment then it is probably damaged. Replace it.

What engine? Rear wheel drive ?Sounds like shift linkage or cable out of adjustment slightly. Have a look at where cable or rod attaches to transmission for adjustment. If not sure of what your looking for get back to me with info.
