Its easy but cover the wood etc with a reasonably thick bit of cloth!!!!!!!!!

First remove ashtray and just pull out the unit will need a bit of force but will clip out. This will reveal three screws come bolt heads 8mm I think. take them out

Second get hold of the air vents at the top and again pull them out they will come but use fingers not a tool.
Behind this are 2 screws as above , take them out and the radio/heating unit comes out, this can then be seperated from its two brackets either side by removing more screws.

You will have to disconect various wiring plugs but no problem, they all come off and are colour coded.

Easy peasy put it back together the opposite way. Good luck.

WIRING FOR 16164325 DELCO RADIO

That is not a radio. That is a control head. The 7 wires carry data to the radio brain which on this trucks is a silver box located directly above the gas pedal. These trucks also had an optional cassette player/ cassette and eq unit that was mounted in the center of the dash that also connected to the radio brain as well.

How do I replace the in-dash radio in my 2002 Fleetwood Bounder 36S gas RV?

Should be a normal install. Remove faceplate and skinny nuts on the volume and station preset knobs. Remove surrounding plastic,if necessary. There will be a rear support bracket at the back of the unit. Some wires back there.

My radio goes in and out...at times I am able to hit "scan" and the radio runs through every station without stopping until I shut it off. I check all presets as I am always within range when it...

My radio did the same, the antenna was unplugged under the passenger dash, as for the casette, mine still doesnt work...nor did it in my last saturn so im thinking that maybe they just have defective cassette players idk

Acura tl cd player doesn't work, radio and cassette player work

Try this as the stereo may need to be reset- If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!

2001 Ford Taurus Radio doesn't work but CD player does!

Does your car have an automatic raising and lowering antenna? If it does check your fuses for it. If not pull your radio out of the dash, and check to make sure that the antenna wire has not become lose or unplugged from the back.

Plastic box of wires to big for my new cd player after taking my old cassette player out

You wll need a stereo installation adapter kit. This will change the dash opening to the size you need, oftentimes by replacing an entire dash panel for a factory look.

Here is a link to the dash kit for your car at Best Buy. These will come with detailed instructions. Let me know if this helps :)

Have a cassette stuck in my 98 Buick Century Custom

sometime you can get luck by taking out the tape player and there will be a small hole somewhere on the player that you can stick a paper clip through to release the tape player. Otherwise gnetly stick a screwdriver under the tape to see if you can get it to release. no guarntees on that last one
