92' honda accord lx when hot does not want to start

You need to repair or replace your car's main power relay. It is a known fault on those early 90's Accords. When it gets hot, it fails and won't supply power to the fuel pump or distributor. Have it replaced.

Car will not start...its not the starter...but acts like its not getting fuel

Try replacing the fuel pump main relay. My 90 accord had the same problem when the main relay went bad, it would take almost 10 tries to start. The Fuel pump main relay is located under under the dashboard on the far left side. The main relay is held in by a 10 or 12 mm bolt. It is small, grey, and says mitsuba main relay on it. replacing this should fix your starting problem. Also check all fuses.
Hope this helps

My 93 honda accord killed and now it just turns over but wont start

check fuses, specially fuel pump fuse, also have someone turn the key on while you listen for the fuel pump in the tank, if you can't hear the noise then it could be a bad fuel pump, if that's not the problem, check the timing in the vehicle..

Looking for location of fuel pump relay switch on a 1994 Honda Accord LX

Hi!!

Check for a 15A Fuse labeled FUEL PUMP on the cabin Fuse Box located in the front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind kick panel.

The diagram shows the Main PCM relay controlling the Fuel Pump, but it wont hurt to check the cabin fuse box under hood, passenger side, rear side of strut tower, mounted in fuse/relay box on firewall

Where is fuel pump main relay

Grab a Haynes manual #42014 and on page 4-4 it explains how to test the main relay. The main relay is located up under the instrument panel, attached to a bracket on the left side of the steering column. Also, check the number 1 fuse or the ACG S fuse found in the engine compartment. Both of these fuses are 15 amp.

Can not get JUICE to fuel pump replaced pump & relay will run if i put gas in CARB?88 honda accord

Did you check #1 fuse 15 amp to see if it were blown? This fuse also controls the fuel pump. This Test procedure is from Mitchell Repair.

Trying to locate my fuel pump cut-off relay

On a 90 accord its located under the dash near the fuse box. I am not 100% sure that the prelude is the same. On the accord it has 8 terminals and it was kinda difficult to get to. Honda is pretty good at placing things on different makes in the same location.
