Remove tire remove caliper and pads with two bolts and adj emergency brake off all the way or untill rotor will come off .Replace shoes (if you don`t know how remove only one side and install other side the same then install remaining shoes.)If rotor or inside drum surface is rough turn or relace rotors. Adj brakes up (parking) and reinastall caliper.Pump brakes half way down only till good pedal not all the way down or the piston in master cylinder will go to end of stroke where all the gook is and you`ll replace master cylinder very shortly

2005 Santa Fe back wheel lockup when in reverse

ref: linkhttp://www.hyundai-forums.com/lc-2000-2005-accent/152405-tried-replace-rear-brake-shoes-drum-will-not-fit-after-new-shoes.html
The automatic brake adjusters work when the car is in reverse and you touch the brake. They should not lock the wheel however. An inspection of the rear brake assembly on both sides might show the problem. total brake repair might be appropriate on a car that age.

Is your hand brakes cable hold the rear brakes? If it does then the cable is rusted inside the cable housing causing the caliper to be holding the other side.. Replace hand brake cables. Or try to release the cable.

Make sure backing plates behind front & rear rotors aren't rubbing on rotors. Jack up each wheel individualy & spin. May also be emergency brake shoes rubbing inside drum inside rear rotors.

What is the minimum rear brake rotor thickness for 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe

.331 (In thousandths of an inch) If brake rotor measures at or under this
specification, it must be discarded. That's if you have the V6 and 2WD. IF that's not what you have check here

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/specifications/specificationsMain.jsp?categoryName=BRAKES+%26+TRACTION+CONTROL&childCategoryNameForTitle=Brake+Rotor+Minimal+Machining&appQuestionName=Rear&childCatId=24400232&categoryNameForTitle=Brakes+%26+Traction+Control&appQtext=Rear&categoryNValue=24499999&appQId=4294933443&childCatName=BRAKE+ROTOR+MINIMAL+MACHINING&appIdsArray=#

If that doesn't work got to the autozone website and click repair info then click specification, then brakes and then minimal maching.

How to remove rear brake rotors on a 2004 Santa Fe

THE REAR BRAKE ROTOR IS A LOOSE ROTOR AND SHOULD COME OFF EASILY. IF NOT, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE ROTOR IS HELD BY RUST ONTO THE HUB OR THE BRAKE SHOES IS STILL EMBEDDED INTO THE ROTOR. REMOVE THE HANDBRAKE CABLE TO ENSURE THAT THE BRAKESHOES COLLAPSE AND TRY TO LOSEN IT AGAIN. IF SEASED ONTO THE HUB BY RUST, KNOCK THE ROTOR WITH A COPPER HAMMER TO BRAKE THE RUST WITH A RUST REMOVER.

REAR WHEEL NOISE/SQUEAK

It could be the parking brake shoe, the springs are not collapsing properly because of being stretched out from regular use
