I have a 2005 Grand Prix GTP Manual Tap drive. I've hit a few pot holes recently & now sometimes when I am turning there is a loud clunking noise under the front end of the car. It seems to happen most often at slow speeds while turning right. Any insight will be appreciated.

Trac Control is part of the ABS Braking System & may need professional tools, to get that modules codes,so save your time for free checking at the parts store, to be told nothing of value there

Problem with 2005 gran prix gtp

Well, since the transmission in your vehicle is computer-controlled, I think the FIRST step in diagnosing the problem should be to ask the Powertrain Control Module what is going on.

2004 Grand Prix GTP, motor mount & trans problems? Rear end problems?

noises or clunks in rear ends are indications of worn suspension rubbers and other rubber mounted items , drive line joint failures
the front end noise could be brake pad and rotor problems so have them checked by an accredited brake shop

I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. It runs and drives perfect, although recently some of the warning dash lights came on. I've done routine maintenance all the time. No problems. It just rolled over...

There isn't anything at that mileage requiring any professional assistance.

You can reset everything with a hand held OBDII compliant diagnostic scanner. Most auto parts stores these days will use their own to reset it for you.

However, there are a few things that regardless of their running condition will never activate a warning light that need to be taken care of at that mileage unless you did it recently. Changing the coolant (DON'T USE DEXCOOL) re-torque the upper motor mounts and flush and refill the transmission and the supercharger reservoir.
