SOURCE: x-type jaguar automatic (gear box fault)

Hi

Get a jump start, with a good set of leads.

Connecting + to + Positive to Positive..

Negative to Negative --- to ----, and have your battery tested.

Expect your battery is shot !

Good luck !

John.

A FixYa rating would be Nice....Thank´s ..

SOURCE: need to put freeon in a 2002 jaguar s-type. where

The lower port is located on the larger of the two lines going in/out of your A/C compressor (the lines are silver tubes and your compressor will have a belt of some sort attached to it).  You can also tell which is the lower port because that line will be cool/cold while the high side port line is smaller and will be warm/hot while the A/C is running on max.

SOURCE: remove rear door panel on x type jaguar

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

What is a vacuum leak on my Jaguar 2002 X-Type 2.5

Have you checked the large rubber pipe that goes from bank 2 cam cover to the intake manifold as they are prone to splitting. To check you will need to remove the 3 srews that hold the engine cover on.

If not look for an air leak around the intake manifold seals
