There is a red wire close to the battery in the front. It's not connected to anything. Apply positive voltage and that will run your pump for testing purposes.
Power comes from headlamp / dimmer switch . Go here for free wiring diagrams http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter vehicle info year ,make , model ,engine size ! Under system click on lighting then under subsystem click interior light dimming .
Have you tested the wiring between the two fans? Back probe the fan that's not working, whats the voltage reading at the fan connector? If 12V check for a lose or broken wire between the connector and the fan. If no voltage the wiring between the fan connector and the fan has an open circuit. Also don't overlook the possibility of a bad ground for that fan.
CHECK THE OTHER COOLING FAN FUSE AND RELAY.IF BOTH GOOD HOT WIRE COOLING FAN TO SEE IF FAN RUNS IF NOT YOU HAVE A BAD FAN MOTOR NEED TO REPLACE FAN MOTOR.IF FAN RUNS WHEN YOU HOT WIRE IT.FAN MOTOR WIRE CONNECTORS HAS A SHORT.
The Radiator fan? if so I would hard wire it to your battery to see if it works at all.
from there it can only be a sensor problem.
Or if the fan does not work at all..... it is the fan.
I have same problem, took to the dealer they checked fans, sensors and relays all working they said I needed a IPC. Instrument Panel Cluster which is all the gauges, they wanted 450. to repair. Junk yard sells for 55. Hope this helps
