Timing issue needs to be checked out first with a timing gun and maybe adjusted accordingly, There are mivor maintanences that you can do like put injector cleaner into gas tank which will clean your fuel injectors and opens it up so more gas gets into the piston heads. Simple things does wonders. Also you can put a cleaner to where the throttle is at on top of engine so it does not stick. Have you yet put new spark plugs or distributor cap and rotor because if you did would make this same problem with timing. If you changed the distributor cap and rotor and did not replace the old one with the new one in the exact same place is why timing could be off by an hair or two.

I gave you the correct way to tell your mechanic what to do by checking out the timing issue first and also you should put injector cleaner into the gasoline mixture of car so it cleans the injectors so minor maintenance is only needed.

My kia sportage starts very well without any problem but can not move because it cuts off when accelerated.

Sounds like an air leak or throttle prob. Use brake cleaner around all hoses & manifold (intake) and see if it revs up. If so locate the air leak

2005 KIA Sportage Engine Warning Light and Misfire Problem

Pending misfire could be attributed to a lot of things. My first guess is plugs and wires, but if they've been replaced that ends there. Fuel pump would be #2 guess; pumps don't need to be broke to start the computer into wildcat throwing codes mode and freaking the driver out. Third guess would be a vacuum leak or evap leak somewhere in the hoses to/from the air box. When problems like these arise with the engine, if you think what does an engine need, you'll solve the problem. The engine needs a correct combination of air and gas and the correct timing of compression and spark to ignite. If one of these is off, you have a nice light on your dash. It goes out for you because the car returns to normal while you're driving, which to me indicates something is about to fail in that system I just described, but works good enough intermittantly to throw the code and also erase it. Look for any loose or disconnected hoses inside the engine, should be a sticker on top of the hood inside that indicates position and placement if you find any.
