My 2002 chevy malibu's radio seems to be shorting out, the radio will work fine but randomly the sound shuts off the radio still shows the radio station and even says which artist is playing but there is no sound what so ever. Then randomly the sound will fade back in. Also there is a clicking noise as if im turning the turn signal on but the signal is off.

I'd suggest using the balance and fade controls to cut out each speaker one by one. to possibly determine if you have shorted speaker or speaker wiring. As far as the turn signal clicking noise, the hazard switch is the actual flasher unit for the turn signals, and could be the culprit, but the most likely cause is the turn signal switch itself. It is usually caused by corrosion across the contacts, which can be cleaned out fairly easily, but more typically, the switch is just replaced

Why does my 2000 Chevy Malibu surge at 2000 rpm

I believe, that there is a short in the fuel pump kill switch which is located on the top inside the gas tank. I had GM replace the whole thing including fuel pump. It took awhile to figure this out, since it didn't show up in thier diags. Since then no problems.

My 2005 chevy malibu classic keeps stalling/shutting down

you might have a short circuit in your car, or a loose cable somewhere, I don't think the car is overheating, I think that the temperature sensor (commonly screwed to the engine by a water return hose) is not working well, probably the bimetalic material is all wear out, you might consider change it.

2002 Chevy Malibu radio won't turn off when car is shut off, gas & water gage won't work.

Does the radio stay on throughout the night? Did the gauge issue happen at the same time as the radio issue? If yes you may have a defective ignition switch, but if not, and the issues are separate, then they need to be listed and dealt with separately.
