If you mean the firing order of the 3800 Series II V6 engine, it is 1-6-5-4-3-2. The numbers are usually stamped on the coil packs and care should be taken when running plug wires that the number on the coil pack lead goes the the corresponding cylinder number. Cylinder locations on the engine are as follows: Standing with the hood open on the passenger side of car facing the front of the engine (end where sertentine drive belt is located) The left bank is 2-4-6 front to rear, and the right bank is 1-3-5 front to rear of engine.

How many miles do i need to drive before my buick lesabre reset itself

Unfortunately it is not a certain amount of time or miles that the car needs to be driven.

There are several 'readiness monitors' that basically cover each emissions related system. For instance there is an EVAP monitor that checks the EVAP system and all of it's components under certain specific conditions (No VSS, TPS, O2 sensor, IAT, MAP, Fuel trim, Injector ciruit, EGR pintle position, ECT, or MAF sensor DTC codes set; Start up engine temp 40F-86F; gas tank between 15% and 85% full, Barometer above 75 kPa, system voltage 8V-16V).

So more information is needed as to what failed you the first time. What DTC code was triggered?

If the problem has been fixed right, the history codes will go away after 40 CONSECUTIVE drive cycles WITHOUT the problem re-occurring.

Good Luck.

Computer disconnected when battery was undone. How long do I need to drive the car before the computer connects again? Trying to take the emmions test and they told me that the computer was disconnected...

Sometimes a few days, starting and running it a few times a day. It could take a week or more. It depends on how many driving cycles and miles. You should run it long enough each time for it to reach full operating temp.

Reset button on an 04 buick lesabre

You can disconnect the battery cables for a couple minutes which typically resets the ECM to some predetermined (default) settings which may make your vehicle run or respond slightly different than it currently does but as you drive the vehicle it will relearn and adjust as needed. If you prefer to wait awhile then it will turn off itself after several --several cycles of the ignition ;so long as the problem is fixed or no longer exists and there are no other problems.

1988 buick lesabre shifting gears problem

Hello;
You need to have the linkage adjusted. Over time, the linkage can go out of adjustment. If this is a column shift car the mechanical linkage may have shifted from hitting a bump or such. Hope this helps, let me know if I may be of further assistance.
Thanks;
