Acura and Honda Radio COdE Retrieval and Unlock Tips .... mine is Honda Accord 93, click what button to active it? .... Radioreset code in 5 minutes for a 2001+ Honda CRV CR-V Accord Civic Pilot Element Odyssey Insight ...
That number is the radio serial number. Any Honda dealer can give you the radio code with it. As a Honda owner, you can also register with Honda online, and retrieve the radio code that way.
IF YOU BOUGHT NEW THERE IS A CARD WITH THE CODE ON IT WITH YOUR OWNERS MANUEL IF NOT THERE YOU'LL NEED TO TAKE IT TO YOUR DEALER. THEY WILL PULL THE RADIO AND GET SER.# CALL IN AND GET THR CODE. THEN YOU PUNCH IT IN USING THE PRESET BUTTONS.
I just had this happen today when I jump started my car due to leaving my head lights on. Call the honda dealership you got your car from, or if you bought it privately just call a honda dealership. They will tell you to press and hold the pre-set buttons 2 & 6 and it will give you a number, they will type it into their computer and they will be able to give you the code. You have to use the pre-set buttons on the radio to enter the code. That will fix the problem... If you already entered to many wrong codes it will not allow you to enter anymore... You will have to either wait an hour and then it will reset again and let you enter the code or you can disconnect the battery for 5-10 mins, reconnect it and then the radio will reset and ask you for the code again. Good luck guys!
you have enterd the wrong coad too many times now and the radio has "locked you out!" go to honda they can fix it if you can prove its your car,,,not easy with honda
You will need the radio serial number, hope you have it written down, otherwise it will need to be removed.
Go to this site... www.radio-code.com for information
Use the Preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. If it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.
If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over or try to
correct your mistake. Complete the five-digit sequence, then enter the
correct code. You have ten tries to enter the correct code. If you are
unsuccessful in ten attempts, you must then leave the system on for
one hour before trying again.
