Question about 1992 Daihatsu Rocky

1992 Daihatsu Rocky O2 sensor light on even after replacement of O2 sensor before 80,000 miles. Brake and Battery lights on after replacement of Alternator. Have checked the charging and the braking circuits. No apparent problems and car hs been run over 1200 miles since the alternator change with NO problems of any kind. How do I reset these lights?

S? que la pregunta es de hace a?os, pero me acaba de pasar a mi Rocky 92' y revisando en los manuales de taller me enter? de que la Luz de O2 la enciende por kilometraje (80mil km), no por malfuncionamiento del sistema o el sensor de O2. Igual es recomendable cambiar el sensor, luego hay que desarmar el dash y desarmar la relojera, y detr?s del od?metro (cuenta kilometros) hay que retirar el switch de activacion de la luz del O2, el cual se activa con 8 "clicks" de 10mil kilometros.
Se puede retirar solamente ? se puede intentar resetear los clicks y ponerlo para que se vuelva a encender a los 160 000km...

Group of relays under dash need to be unplugs to reset o2s light .. I think.

Reading up on relays under dash.. Group of three relays the control o2s light. Drive side under steering wheel small cover. Remove. Unplug

Engine maint. light reset

OBD1 System

That is just a reminder & has no effect on
any vehicle system (just a gadget)

You need OBD1 professional scan tool software
I had the same vehicle & the same thing happen

I'm looking at my 1992 factory service manual
It is called an EMR--Emission Maintenance Reminder light
It stores every 8 miles
Checks at 60,000,82,500,120,000 miles & then sets the light

It is for replacement of : EGR Valve,O2 Sensor,PVC Valve,etc

Mine only came on at 80,000 & I had & still have the scan tool

I never tried any other means to clear it,haven't worked on OBD1
in over 10 years,just use the scope on the old scan tool for O2 Sensor switching times

to reset the ECU module, you have to remove the positive connection on the battery terminal, set it aside, and then in the fuse box take out the ecu fuse let is sit for 10 minutes then plug in the fuse, and secure the positive connection on the battery terminal. that should reset the ecu module. you will see some gains in performance, this should clear the lights.
