With out knowing which year PU you have i can tell you this:
The Mitchell repair manuals program is a web-based system. This means that you can get all of the repair instructions and pictures via an easy to use point and click type interface.

I would like a how - mitchell-repair-manuals.jpgIt's just like browsing a giant website that is only about your specific automobile. This is a good feature for all types of users, including someone who has a dial up connection. You may not be able to download the entire auto repair guide, but you can select multiple documents and print them out all at the same time.

see it at:

if this is helpful please give it a thumbs up to help others.

Just replaced heads, rockers, pushrods, spark plugs, timing chain on 98 chevy 2500 5.7 and it will not start. There is plenty of fire but i noticed the rockers are not movin.

Only way the rockers won't move is if the cam isn't turning. Only way that can happen is if the timing chain isn't turning it. Go back inside and find out why.

I have a 95 chevy c/k 2500 pick up that won't turn over just clicks - what could be the problem?

Either the battery is too dead to turn the starter or the starter could be bad.

Replace timing chain cover on 1999 chevy van 2500

should be able to get the cover off with the engine in the frame. Just take out the grille and header support, then disassemble the front of the engine. If you are dead set on removing the engine, she comes out the front after taking everything out of the way.

1991 chevy 4x4 2500, we changed the distributor,

Timing chain and gears may need replacing. Is the timing correct? Like number 1 at top of compression stroke and the dist. is on 1. How about a new coil too. Try a coil first. They go bad on these a lot.

On my 2000 chevy silverado 2500 with the 6.0 when i start it it starts up just fine but stumbles down to about 200rpms then picks up and drops back down to 200rpms again it does this 2 or 3 times before it...

Try cleaning throttle body and IAC sensor.Thats more than likely the issue. It carbons up over time and sticks..Another problem could be in your air intake sucking to much air.Try those and you will most likely fix your problem..
