I have a 2007 toyota prius and i was driving it then out of the blue it started vibrating the whole car the engine light, vsc and a triangle light with a ! inside it came on. when i push my power button to start it the car wont start but the radio, gps, and all the other stuff comes on like normal except the ready button isnt coming on as well as its not starting. what could possibly be my cars problem?

I seem to recall that the high voltage battery has a module that identifies it to the car. If that is the case, you need to go to the dealership or call a mobile auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to program in the details of VIN number and mileage.

STOP engine light. There is something seriously wrong so do not operate/drive the vehicle before finding and repairing whatever is causing this light to come on!

Try putting key into key slot. Next try replacing key's battery. Good luck.

On a Prius, when the check engine light comes on it indicates a malfunction in the powertrain control system. You need to have the car scanned for codes to see where the fault lies.
