Remove tire...if it has disc brakes remove caliper/pads and rotor...if it has a drum break remove drum..Now take a punch and hammer and hit the center of the lugnut stud untill it pops out the back.put the new one in and get it tight with the lugnut.Replace brakes and tire and tighten that lugnut until it stops. Then check it in 500 miles

How to replace wheel lugbolts on Pontiac Grandam 2004?

Kenneth, you need to remove the wheel bearing hub assembly. If you do not have proper tools and are unfamilier it can be quite a job, but if you have the tools, it's not too bad. Remove the tire then the brake calipers and rotors. The hub assembly should have 4 bolts on the back side and 1 big axle nut on the front.

2001 ram 2500 how to remove the wheel hub assembly

Remove tire. Remove caliper and caliper holder. Remove rotor. Using a 36 MM socket remove center nut and slide hub off spindle. If hub does not come off freely use wheel puller to remove hub.Loosen front wheel lug nuts. Jack up and support front of truck with jack stands ( put them in the middle so both you can get to both sides of the truck). Remove tire, Remove caliper and caliper holder. romove rotor ( I had to use a 2x4 wedged between rotor and lower controll arm rubber stoper. then started truck and turned the wheel right or left to pop rotor free). remove 3 bolts that hold hub to knuckle. on the next step I used a steel pipe about 1 1/2 foot i think about 2 inches in diamater. wedge it between lower controll arm rubber stoper. then start truck turn the wheel left or right to let power steering pump do the work. It poped it off easy for me both sides in less than 1 hour. put alot of anti seize on the new hubs and bolts in case you have to replace them again. use a torque wrench to tighten all bolts. Great time to replace brakes as long as you are in the area. hope this helps.

Sheared front lug

First remove wheel from car. Next take large hammer and drive whats left of lug out, you may need to use a punch if sheared off below hub hight. Now insert new lug stud in from back side of hub and use a open style lug nut (like those you see on old cars without nice wheels) and put on upside down, flat side towards hub. tighten up by hand then use socket to tighten down untill stud is pulled in all the way. In some cases you may need to use a few washes under nut to give enough room for shank on stud.

My 2005 Impala is making a roaring sound when I turn into a curve driving....What does this mean and how can it be fixed??

It sounds like one of your wheel bearing needs to be replace, most likely one of the rear bearing may have gone dry and needs to be replaced soon as possible before you have a total bearing failure and loose a wheel. With the car parked, go to each wheel and push back and forth on the top (side to side) you should be able to hear and feel which wheel has the play since it's will feel and sound different from the other wheels. The rear wheel bearing can be replaced with simple tool and under 1 hour if your good with tools and the front will have to be brought to a shop since your going to need am impact gun to remove the front axle nut from the wheel hub. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted if your going to replace the rear wheel hub your self and i can give you the instructions to replacing the hub. I believe the rear hubs goes for around $170.00 at Auto Zone and they can give you the step by step instructions too.

How do i replace front discs on a fiat multipla,51,plate,please.

Firstly removve the wheel. Then romove the the caliper by the two hex/alen key screws at the rear. then remove the guard by the two bolts at the front. this should leave only the disk on the hub. there is a small screw on the front which will realease the disk and fitting is te reverasal of removal.

Need instruction manual/schematics for replacing 2005 kia rio driver side rear wheel bearing. i've got the wheel/hub/bearing off, not the inside ring to the bearing. i need to know how to replace it .

clean all the grease if there is any out of the hub, turn the hub over and using a drift and hammer strike the shell from the back edge working around the shell as you go, should not take too much to remove it but you will need a bit more than a tap with the hammer.
Hope this has helped you
