I have a 2002 V10 ford chassis motorhome. Took it in to have exhaust manifold bolts replaced. Now will not start. No fuel. You can hear the fuel pump running but when cas line opened at inline filter under chassis very little trickle of gas comes out. Could the pump be running and not pumping or is there a filter prior to the pump in the fuel tank that is causing the problem??? Never had any sign of this problem till now.

Yes it can run and produce low pressure, There is a non service filter in the tank that is part of thefuel pump, if the pressure is low a replacement is the fix for you

There is a strainer filter attached to the fuel pump in the tank however you really need to see how much gas is actually in your tank first. Sounds like a fuel line may be pinched.

Replace exhaust manifold bolts 1998 Chevy 454

If you are wanting to change the bolts it is probably because you have a leak in the system. Some motorhomes are real difficult to work on. Be patient or let a professional do it. Bolts could be broken, manifold could be cracked or warped.

I have a motorhome 2002 V10 Ford Triton engine that is not starting. Engine turns over but it won't start, not getting fuel. Supposedly there is a fuel switch for the fuel pump. Does anyone know location

If it has an inertia switch, it should be on the passenger side near the door.
I would first check the pump relay to see if it is sending power to the pump thru the switch. And do you have a switch for dual tanks ?

Ford 460 loses power then dies. Starts back up. Idles fine.

It sounds like you might have a clogged catalatic converter on the exhaust system.

How to replace the water pump on 1993 oldsmoblie achieva.

2.4 enigine is the harder of the 3 enignes. it will need a timing chain to be removed and a coolant tube in the back of the engine to be removed. this job on the book calls for almost 7 hours.

if its 3.3 or 3100 its alot easier.

3100 is just 4 10mm pulley bolts and 5 or 6 small 8mm water pump bolts.

3.3 is alittle more work, but same concept as 3100 engine. more owkr only cause its in a tighter area.

good luck,
michael
