Sliding door power door locks

I am not able to get the power door locks to work on the sliding doors. The left door started showing the problem a couple of weeks ago and now both doors are not responding to the key fob or the switch on the front doors. The front doors and the liftgate work with no problem.

Sliding doors usually connects with the car's electrical thru contacts on the sliding door to the stationary part of the car near the locks. they should be clean and shiny to have a prfect contact.

if they are ok, you have to open the door panels and check the solenoids of the locks manually. if you would know how to apply power to the solenoids to check them if they are responding. if they are then the problem is the supply.

you have to trace the power that goes to the terminals then to the solenoids.

i hope i was able to fix ur problem.

tnx 4 using fixya,

Honda crv door lock

Start by having your car checked for a Trouble Code. Many Auto Parts stores do it for free. It seems to be a security issue that keeps locking the door. It is a system which works separate from all the other systems in your car.

Ac stopped working, then lost raido and clock and now power door locks wont work

Start at fuse box... replace fuses blown. is it an after market stereo? if so may have exposed wires shorting out in back, which are any 12volt wires that are bare and touch any metal on car.

You'll need to replace the solenoid (motor) that doesn't work. Not hard once you get the door panel off. I suggest you buy the correct part, not a universal one.

Power door lock inoperable on passenger sliding door only

Not sure if they are same on 2006 but there should be a couple of small rounded metal contacts, or similar, on door that meet with door post to complete the connection. When you find them, clean them off with a little fine steel wool or SOS pad, minus the soap, and see if that doesn't cure it.
