I don't know this model, but generally it is in the lower corner of the radiator, either directly under the lower radiator hose, or on the opposite side (under the upper hose but at the very bottom of the tank). It should be on the rear side of the tank (facing the engine). You will most likely have to lift the front end of the car and look from underneath, it's generally really hard to see (let alone reach) from the top.

Knob styles vary, and it may turn either clockwise(CW) or counter-clockwise(CCW) to open. Usually it turns CCW to open, but if it does not want to move, try CW.

Follow the bottom hose to the base of the radiator. If there's no drain petcock there (most newer vehicles don't have one) you'll need to carefully remove that lower hose from the radiator in order to drain it.

It would be located right below the bottom radiator hose on the driver side of the vehicle. It might be tucked away a bit, but it is there.

Cant find drain plug on radiator

Not all radiators have a drain plug, if theres a drain plug its located at the bottom of the radiator, depending on the model car or truck it will be locate on the backside of the radiator facing the engine , look on the rightside and then the leftside and in the middle, if this one doesnt have a drain then just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the radiator, sometimes its hard to see the drain so ook closely. good day

I have a 1995 buick century. i want to flush radiator, but i couldn't located the draining valve. i need a help, if you can locate the draining valve for radiator.

Hi, if there is not a petcock or plug at the bottom of the radiator, you can just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant. Many cars do not have drain plugs. Please let me know if you have more questions and thanks for using FixYa.

Where is the radiator drain plug on a 1993 Toyota Corolla?

Hi there,

For most Toyota radiators I know, the plug is in the center at the bottom of the radiator housing. If you cannot locate it, then simply remove the bottom radiator hose to drain the radiator. Keep in mind that you may need to replace the hose clamp if it has the one-use factory style clamp.

The drain plug is directly below your upper radiator hose at the bottom of the radiator. You can start by disconnecting the battery ground cable.

Hope this helps...

Hi!!!

Drain plug is located on radiator bottom facing engine, driver side.

Note: Never open drain plug when radiator is hot, wait for it to cool down, remove radiator cap to release pressure then open drain plug.

Where is the radiator drain plug located on a 97 chevy 1500 Z71? I'm trying to flush the radiator, but cannot find it.

It's located on the drivers side of the radiator opposite of the lower radiator hose. Note: you may be better off disconnecting the lower radiator hose, it's common for the drain plug to break or the O-rings to split causing more work to drain the radiator. That's why most tech's will drain the radiator from the lower radiator hose, less chance of breaking the radiator drain plug and most new cars now don't come with a drain plug to the radiator.

Where is the radiator drain plug located on the 2004 Chevy Colorado? (Drain ****??)

The drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator.

Most drain plug ismake of inexpensive nylon/plastic and it may fall apart while you turn it.

The professional method is to loosen the lower radiator clamp and drop to lower radiator hose.

Drain the coolant onto a large drain pan and recycle the coolant.
