If you have an RS or GS, you can get a tranny from a 4cyl dodge avenger or nt eagle talon. you can use a few others with slight modififications, the dodge neon transmissions work if you switch out bell housing but gear ratios are different on the SOHC.
there are some other chrysler cars too but i forget exactly which ones. the NT PT cruiser tranny works but i can't remember if its a direct swap or if it needs to be modded.

Will a 94 park ave transmission be used on a 91 park ave

A 1994 Transmission is not interchangeable, but you can use a transmission out of a 1991-2 Buick Lesabre or Olds 98. These are just a couple I know of, but your local junkyard will look up other interchangeable transmissions for you. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you need to replace your transmission. Some options are 1) Take it to a tranny shop to be rebuilt. 2) Go to your junkyards and purchase one or 3) Purchase a brand new one

A great resouce for galant owners is

As far as your part, check with your local junkyards or (on line listing of parts from numerous junkyards). You'll pay double the junk yard price at the Mits dealers. If you use the mits dealer they will loook up the part and order it for you.

1996 Jetta Auto Trans Slippage

The automatic transmission in these cars are known for early failure. They are very complex and often cost more to rebuild than it would be to buy a new one. I know that many transmission shops wont even touch this car. Your best bet would be to search your local junkyards and find a transmission from a car that was wrecked (you know it was working when wrecked) or a transmission from a junkyard that will guarantee it's functionality. A new transmission will cost about $2,000 -$3,000 installed, depending on where you go. If the car is in good shape, it may be worth saving. In great condition it's worth about $3,000. Keep that in mind. If it's not in great shape, it might be a good idea to find a different car. Good luck.

I have a 1997 taurus transmission badly slipping I need a manual to look at where can I get one for free

There isn't much you can do about that problem. You might try
changing the fluid and filter in the tranny but it is likely you will need the trans rebuilt. Good luck. Neil W.
