Power outlet my power out let in the car won't work and all my fuses look fine, however, the manual doesn't tell me which fuse goes to it so could you tell me which fuse it is please? I'm going on vacation and need to charge the phones and ipod!! :)
My power outlet quit working in my 2004 Dodge. I need it for my GPS system and am not sure if it might be just a fuse. I have no idea where to look for the fuse that would be damaged if that is the problem. My power outlet quit working in my 2004 Dodge. Yes, I have the very same problem. Of course when I contacted the dealership, they quoted me an initial 49.95 to check out the issue. I was also informed what they would need to do is to check each fuse and do a process of elimination type thing. This sucks!!! Yes, I have the very same problem. It is possible that the issue with the rear power outlet not working on your 2016 Hyundai Sonata is due to a problem with the power outlet relay in the engine fuse box compartment. You should inspect the relay and see if it has any visible damage or if it is loose. If it is damaged or loose, you should replace it. If the relay looks fine, you can check for any other fuses in the engine fuse box that may control the rear power outlet. If you are not familiar with electrical systems, it is recommended that you take your vehicle to a qualified technician for further diagnosis and repair.
Normally this would be in your owners manual. The power for the outlets may be on the same circuit with the horn. On some models there is an accessory relay that handles the outlets. There should be a 20amp fuse in the box in the engine compartment that feeds the circuit. You may have to check all of the 20amp fuses to find it.
using a test light check the fuses in the fuse panel then check for power and ground at the socket. if one is missing remove the socket and check for power and ground at the electrical connector. if you have both the socket is bad and needs replacing. if you missing one you will have to check that wire to find were the problem is and repair it.
