Not necessarily, it could be a relay or a wiring problem also. A weak battery. First have your battery load tested to determine the overall condition. Then have a starter draw test performed. That will tell you what you need to know. I hope this helps.

I know you probably want a free link but they will give you access to every nut and bolt on that car, including wiring diagrams, colors, connector locations everything. When you are working on an older car like that the info at your fingertips is worth its weight in gold.
