I wanted to add a comment please also check the mounting of the strut on that corner and that the strut has not failed look for oil leakage and that its strong as the other side if it failed change them both with a strut at least as good as factory quality

Knocking sound coming from passenger side rear wheel when slowing down

Could be a number of things, but one that is not thought of generally is the exhaust pipe. After checking the lug nuts, the spindle nut, and the shock absorber bolts to be sure they're tight, grab the exhaust pipe (when it's cool) and shake it around and see if it hits anything. I've had to bend the hangers on exhaust pipe and muffler to realign the exhaust pipe so it doesn't hit the suspension. The clearances are fairly tight right there by the wheel.

Loud knocking coming from rear 2000 impala

It sounds like your rear shocks/struts are the problem.

The knock sounds like right under the driver side and mainly happens when your slowing down

Might check your brake disc(rust, end of the pad) and/or check if your tires are unbalanced at the mentioned speed. Unbalanced tires might cause knock/vibrating

Can"t get the right side brakes to bleed

there is an equlaiser valve the best way is the let the car sit and gravity bleed if went dry or line broke
if this fails slowely press on the brake pedal 3 times in a row make sure you go slow down then slow back up or valve will close
if valve stuck hit with hammer lightly to loosen it up

Single knock sound from dead stop or when slowing down

I had the same problem on a brand new 2008 JEEP Patriot. The solution after 2 trips to the dealer was to tighten all the suspension bolts in the front. Note wether your problem is in the front or rear and go to the dealer.
