If you are asking if a vehicle equipped with four-wheel disc brakes has "wheel cylinders", then the answer is NO. Disc brakes do not use wheel cylinders. The calipers are what actuate the brakes. It works by the same principle however. The fluid travels down the brake lines from the master cylinder and presses on a piston. This is true for wheel cylinders as well as calipers.
On the other hand, the only trucks that GM manufactured with four-wheel disc brakes in the 2000 model year were the Sierra and the Silverado. Blazers were manufactured with front disc and rear drum brakes. So the answer to your question would be YES. It has wheel cylinders on the rear brakes.
Brakes pads go with calipers and disc brakes, brake shoes go with drum brakes which has wheel cylinders.
