hi there sharondav are u able to remove unit & look for serial no. on side unit serial no. starts with m & is six figure no.u need radio pins to take unit out which u can purchase at local car accessories or if you ask nicely u can ask u r local ford garage to take unit out it you can i will be able to get radio code for u.
Same problem with mine, same model etc. If you input code incorrectly 3 times the word 'OFF' appears. Then you need to leave the ignition in the first position with the radio on with the word off appearing for 2 hours. It then asks you for the code again. Ring your volvo dealer and give them your registration plate number. They should have the code on file. They should not charge for this. My problem is that volvo's code that they have stored does not work so i'm waiting for a repair guy to ring me back. Suspect my stereo was 'swapped out' during a service call. Might explain the cd skipping.
there is a wheel on your steering volume control.if your code is ,say 1234,turn the wheel down 1,untill 1 appears on the dash.under the wheel on the bottem is a butten, press once.the number on dash, should say 1 and the second number should flash.turn wheel again for second number, press button under nieth.3 and 4 the same way.ON THE FORTH NUMBER,HOLD THE BUTTEN UNDERNEITH UNTILL IT BLEEPS,RADIO SHOULD NOW BE ON MEGANES CLIO,R THE SAME , GOOD LUCK.
