around 80.000 miles or 6/7 years depending on local climate ,dryier the climate then change it sooner as the rubber dries out

diesel engines tend to trow smoke i don't think you should worry about it only if its ridiculous smocking

The following is the scheduled mainainence per Chrysler at 60,000 miles:

1. Change engine oil & filter
2. Air cleaner filters
3. Rotate tires
4. Check spare tire pressure & stowage
5. Change automatic transaxle fluid & filter
6. Engine coolant flush (every 60 months or 102,000 mile whichever comes first)

I'd say yes. Including the cost of a transmission it could be operational for under 1500 dollars. I kept up on the '98 I bought for my wife with regular maintenance and it finally died at over 300,000 miles. Most newer Chryslers have a 100,000 mile warranty, so theoretically it could have still been under warranty. Please rate my solution, and leave a testimonial.

can you explain a little more? Was it froze and you forced the window or did you just roll the track down and the window fell

Have a mechanic check the sieve/filter at the base of the power steering reservoir. It is probably clogged up and will need to be replaced. About $160.
