I suggest download this specific Factory Service Manual: Mitsubishi FSM Engine 4D56-25-diesel

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Pajero valve clearance 4d56 turbo and why engine oil pop out from dip stick while enging runing?

hi the clearance on these will be 0.25 hot ( just run ) and the reason why you have oil coming out from dip stick is either you have too much oil in and need to drain some, or somewhere on the vacuum system you might have a blockage which in turn is casing a pressure build up and is forcing the oil out...hope this helps

Mitsubishi 4D56 engine will not start. Blows fumes into top pan. Behaves like the exhaust and intake are interchanged. Engine turns in the right direction when cranked. Timing is in tact.

Turning in the right direction, does not mean it is in time, have this checked, but check the e g r valve to see if it is stuck open,if not,the valves may be stuck open,or out of time.
