You need to access the Airbag ECU (Electronic Control Module) using suitable diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car in order to erase all faults - DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) memored, unlock and reset the Airbag ECU. Then the Airbag light will turn OFF after approx. 4 seconds, ignition ON.
Good Luck!

Airbag system light staying on, previous owner stated this has to do with the seatbelt connection on the drivers seat. (What the dealer told him). Any suggestions? Control module/ resistor?

This is a possibility as was in my case. Have scanned for codes and see what is wrong. The airbags will not deploy in the event of a crash until fixed

2003 escape my airbag light stays on its been this way since i bought the truck in 2007 how mush is it gonna be for the dealer to fix it

Depends on the airbag code, can be anything from the clockspring assy, the seatbelt pretensioner to an airbag or module fault. Best bet is find out the code and reask the question.

Airbag Warning Light

Hello, I am having the same problem, But the dealer told me that most often a water bottle goes under the seat and when people pull it out they unplug the airbag, you may want to look at this first. resetting the sensors would be next, I am looking for that next.
