I have a problem in starting my 1991 Accord. Few days ago I jump started but its dead again although It was parked in the Garage. Should I go and change the battery or what and should I go and charge the battery from the wall mart.
    Thanks in advance,

I am having the same trouble at the moment. My battery connection was a bit corroded but i fixed that and it still didn't help. but i tried five minutes later and it seemed to work. It's strange and seems to be very random on when it doesn't work.

Check fuel pump but also how long has it been since you've had a tune-up? Could be distributor wiring or rotor button.

Check your fuel pressure it should be 60-66 psi with the key on and engine off.Sound like you might have a weak fuel pump.

91 Buick Skylark ran when parked but now won't

Is the check engine light on when the engine is running ?
Someone will need to check for spark on all cylinders and fuel pressure.
You might try spraying carb cleaner or starting fluid into the throttle body to boost fuel supply and see if it helps. If it does that would tell you its a fuel problem.

My 2004 Honda Pilot ran fine then a hour later won't start. At first thought battery so we charged up usig one of those chargers you plug in. Lights flicker, and clicking sounds but won't turn

Check batry terminals are secure & free from corosion, check security of earth strap to engine & main power wire on starter, if ok have the batry load tested to ensure it can perform under load as the starter needs a lot of current. Have you tried a jump start?

Slave cylinder troubleshooting

I'd be happy to help you solve your problem, but you kind of sow confusion. So I ask, does the engine crank over at its normal starting speed when you try to start it? And despite the heading reference to the clutch slave cyliinder, the problem is the car won't start? I'll tell you where to start troubleshooting every problem with the car not firing up. That is to check the battery's present condition. If the battery is low on charge you cannot rely on any further testing. So have the battery charged up or check it with a voltmeter to see if it needs charging. Is your problem a one time problem, or any events leading up to this that may have effect? If the engine started and ran fine before, and you heard no noise of an abrupt failure, then it most likely lost either fuel or spark (ignition) to the cylinders.

91 honda accord won't start sometimes-battery, a/c, starter?

Your tempermental starting problem could be the park neutral safety switch . They get worn inside an cause this type problem . Next time it won't start place gear selector into neutral an see if it starts then . The cooling running problem is probably the cooling fan timer module . From the diagram it's hard to say which side the A/C condenser fan is on. The A/C fan has blue with yellow stripe wire in the connector along with a black one . I would also suggest you have a qualified repair shop do a voltage drop test on the starting circuit .
How to voltage drop test starter motor circuit

Starter Voltage Drop These test's will find any starting circuit problem .

My car has been running fine. Starts each morning once to drive kids to school. An hour later for me to drive to work. But for the last two mornings won't start back up after working 4 hours. I noticed...

Sounds like the alternator is going out the slow way.
Youre kinda lucky because almoat all alternators go out without warning.
Most Autozone shops or places like it will run a test for free.
Good luck,Gary

my 91 had a similar problem early in the year..... mechanics replaced some chip in my car that did not tolerate sitting in heat very well. very common in these models, my mechanic told me especially since my car would do the whole initial purring thing, just not completely start......
