I was run my radio with the van started. Went I try to started the van it would not start. I got a jump to see if it was the battery the battery charge but the van would not start.
I have a similar issue, the starter motor doesn't seem to be getting power to start turning the engine over. When turning the key to start, the action doesn't dim the headlights or anything (as you would expect if power is actually going to the starter motor). No warning lights, no clicking, just silence. There were no prior issues to this happening, and now it simply won't start. I checked the fuses and actually swapped the relay for the starter motor with another relay for the accessory (making sure they were the same relay type first, natch). I also removed the battery terminals, cleaned them and reattached them.
Took it to a mechanic who's currently doing diagnostics right now, he says it's definitely not the starter motor that's the problem. Haven't heard back, but was curious if there is someone with a similar issue.I have a similar issue, the starter motor doesn't seem to be getting power to start turning the engine over. This is the speed sensors on the transmission. I just went through the exact same thing with my van. They are fairly easy to replace and run about $15 a piece.
