If possible remove the radio, make a note of the model and model number on the rear of the unit. Usding your browser enter a search " Car Radio Codes", there will be several web sites which offer to supply the code you need- typical price around £10 or $16US, email your radio details and reply is usually within a few hours.
I had to do the same on my 940,,,heres what I had to do, give your vin# to a volvo dealership and they should be able to give you the code...you may have to let them pull the radio out to get the #'s off of it also and give both #'s to get the code....a word to the wise.. once you get the code...write it everywhere you can....
