Is there a factory warranty on paint for a vehicle past the bumper to bumper warranty?

call and ask gm but I would say no- sounds like contaminated primer - if you have time, you can strip and do yourself- brake fluid will easily strip paint- rent booth and shoot it- keep smiling- its only cosmetic

Is there a GM factory warranty on paint for a vehicle past the bumper to bumper warranty?

You will need to go to a Chevy dealership to see about getting an extended warranty but first they would need to re-certify the vehicle. They only do that to vehicles they get traded in typically. If there was a recall concerning paint they may pick up the tab. I'd recommend going to a dealership in person so you won't be given the run around. Talk to a manager, there will be much haggling involved. Chevy/ GM dealerships are notorious for screwing people on their warranties. They'll try to get you to trade in your van for something else but maybe that would be your best bet so you wouldn't be out of a vehicle for long and can get a warranty package that suites your needs. Don't go with any extended warranties that come from third parties (such as Mercury), they take forever to get your car fixed if they ever do and those warranties aren't honored by dealerships.

I have a gmc acadia and the rear bumper on it is filled with scratches, what is the best repai solution without changing the bumper

body shop estimate on paint and body filler and most important flex additive in the paint Best repair then there are the do it yourself kits of body repair and activator combination for the filling of the scratches but then your skills/ knowledge of body repair are needed for the repaint. Preperation below is key to the look above. all flaws seen in the primer and the sealer which can be seen show up many times worse with the shiny paint.

I have purchased one Getz Prime in July 2007.Paint Bulging (Blister)observed on Right Rear Doorin the Inter Space of Door Handle and the Quarter Glass. This is a Clear Sign of Propagation of Corrossion...

Given the age of the paint unless it has been completely repainted already, it is NOT cost beneficial to fork out the money in attempting to fix the oxidizing paint in the indicated area. Even if you did fix the area, once a vehicle starts to shows signs of this deterioration, it is a clear sign of the age of the paint job. Thus, with the cost of paint rework, it is not in your best interest to have this professionally fixed. However, you may want to attempt to fix it yourself by bringing the immediate area down to the shell with a trusted grid sandpaper kit. Then you may always patch it yourself for about 5 percent of what it would cost to do professionally.

Ford will not assist on a 1998 vehicle because of the age.
You can primer and spot paint but it would probably do better if you sanded it down first.
