The intake air sensor is part of the Mass Air Flow sensor, located in the air tube between the air filter box and the throttle body.

I have a 2008 Pontiac G5 I was wanting to install a performance chip to it. It says to connect it to the IAT senor which has 5wires witch wires are for the IAT

The other three wires are for the Mass air flow sensor . That's a new one for me , performance chips or turners are used through the DLC . You program the engine computer . I have no idea what they can do from the intake air temp. sensor .The tan an lit blue wires are for the IAT sensor !

Where is iat sensor on 2006 toyota tacoma 4.ol 4door located ?

This is the 2001-2012 Toyota Tacoma wiring diagram, Toyota Tacoma IAT (Intake Air Temperature) Sensor Location and the Toyota Tacoma MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor Location, also included is a pinout of the sensor. You are likely installing a performance chip or a cold air intake kit for increased HP (Horsepower). You will want to be sure to disconnect the car battery before adding performance products.

Here is the Toyota Tacoma's Iat sensor diagram:

Code P2A00 what does this mean. service engine comes on & off it seems to come on more offen the hoter it is outside. put 2 performance chips in car 1st chip is on MAF sensor it tells the system the...

The code indicates a problem with Air/Fuel mixture, and it is very possible with the "chips" you installed, the A/F ratio the ECM sees is out of tolerance. As far as inspections is concerned, you may need to remove the chips and reset the ECM before you go for inspection.

I have a 2000 VW GTI VR6.I'm trying to connect a performince chip

do not cut into these wires. any real performance programmer will not require you to do this. these ones that tell you to cut into the IAT will ruin a $700 mass air flow meter, and do not do anything. all they do is try to trick the computer into thinking it is colder then it actually is, and to richen the fuel mixture, which will actually HURT performance and emissions because the air density does not match what the temp sensor is reading. the temp sensor is there for a reason!
