I did investigate the message you sent previously. I checked out your answer yesterday evening and I found out the scan tool you are talking about is a much more costly one then I have for my use. Is there away to reset the autos computer with out the unit you are talking about? The meter I have is called INNOVA 3100a. I called the MFG and was told no this meter didn't have that ability. It is a lot like the one that AutoZone uses.

You will require an error code reading machine, Which can be bought from car auto stores at low prices, You only need a cheap one to read the current error codes if you are sure everything has been fixed then clear error codes saved onto car system, However investigate each error code so you don't keep resetting the light when its coming on due to a fault with the engine.
you may be right, try a spare key, that will elimanate the key chip, you will need a scan tool to diagnose this problem, also with key in crank position is there power at starter, the scan tool can tell yuo if computer is reading key chip signal and if signal if right and also you can see if starter is receiving start signal, good luck.
You have a broken cable, or one of its parts. You need to trace the cable from the "pull" back to where it splits to go to the left and right rear brakes, and finally to each rear brake. You will most likely need to get under the vehicle and for this you will need to jack it up. Please be safe, or if uncomfortable, take to a trained mechanic, that should be able to fix this for very little money.
