If the car has sat for a long period of time the calipers can be seized and not allowing brakes to release properly. If they are siezed it's best to have them replaced.

It is tied into the brake light switch, so technically yes, but very little or you may lose your brake light activation.

There's an electrical switch on the clutch pedal arm (sort of like a brake lamp switch on the brake pedal arm). What does it do?

One of two things - if the switch closes when you press the pedal, it's an ignition safety requiring the clutch to be pressed when starting the car. If it's closed with the clutch pedal released it's a cruise control safety, so that cruise disengages if you push the pedal in (so the engine doesn't over-rev).

When releasing the brake pedal theres a loud hissing sound coming from inside the car down around the brake pedal. it does not seam to affect the braking of the car. the brakes seam to work just fine but...

Sounds like you have a leaking brake booster. The booster is what supplies the power assist to the brake pedal and is located in between the firewall and the brake mater cylinder.

Eventually it will get bad enough to cause either the check engine light to come on for lean codes or cause the engine to start to idle poorly and possibly affect you ability to apply the brakes.

This is a relatively simple repair. You can remove the master cylinder from the booster. Leave the brake lines attached. Most of the time you can gently move the master cylinder out of the way and the lines will bend or flex with the movement. You only need to move the master cylinder just enough to squeeze the booster in and out. Then remove the vacuum line from the booster.

The booster is held to the firewall with four nuts that can be accessed under the drivers side of the dash. First remove the rod that attaches the booster to the brake pedal. Then remove the nuts that hold the booster to the firewall. Remove the old booster and install the new one.

The brakes went completly to the floor. I replaced the brake master cylinder. When I bleed the brakes, very little brake fluid comes out and it is still going to the floor.

The brake lines still have air in them that is why you are getting very little fluid out. Pump the brakes until they are stiff then open the bleeder screw on the caliper once the pedal goes to the floor close the screw and repeat the process until you get a solid flow of fluid. Start at one wheel and work your way around until all four wheels do this. As you are releasing fluid remember to check your master cylinder and to keep the fluid level right in it since you are releasing fluid through the bleeder screw, if fluid gets low in the master cylinder you will have to start all over again.

There are 2 causes, 1.caliper slides are in need of servicing/lube.2, caliper(s) piston(s) need to be serviced/cleaned. Recommend replacement of both calipers, if either doesn't work.

Unless the brake cable is caught on something under your truck then they are already released.When you push the pedal down you pull on the cable engauging the P brakes,when you release the bakes you take tension off.

Tail lights on 91 century

If it's brake lights and not running lights, check switch at brake pedal.Follow arm up and you'll see a switch that arm pushes against when brakes are released.
