My 1999 Acura 3.2 , 138000 4 door is acting up. Whilst driving, the engine will just shut down. If you wait a while, or sometimes crank the engine immediately, it starts back up. The first time it happened the AC was on. I had it checked out completely by 2 mechanics but no one seems to be able to diagnose the problem. There is no error code, we cleaned the throttle etc.

IT IS LOOKS LIKE A FUEL PRESSURE LEAKING INSIDE THE ENGINE OR DEFECTIVE FUEL INJECTOR LEAKING . TRY DISCONNECTING THE FUEL PUMP RELAY. AND CRANK THE ENGINE IF ALWAYS CRANK WITH OUT OF FUEL (CRANK WITHOUT START) YOU HAVE FUEL LEAK INSIDE THE ENGINE
REMOVE THE INJECTORS RAIL UP EVERYTHING CONNECTED,PUT BACK THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TURN THE SWITCH ON AND FIND WICH ONE IS LEAKING. (GASOLINE IS FLAMMABLE TAKE CARE)
i have a 1999 acura 3.2tl. it runs fine when it is cold or hot. after the car is hot and i shut it off for five to ten minutes the car will start and shut down right away. when it stays running it runs rough with a low idle under 500rpm. any ideas>
This will need a good repair shop , not necessarily a dealer. Find one recommended by friends that can do computer/electrical work. The "no bus" means the cars computer network is losing comminication between itself. This is not a code , but you might have code(s) stored in the computer system.A repair shop can scan for any stored codes to start the diagnosis. The problem could be in the PCM (engine computer) or even the Theft deterent system. Sounds more like theft deterent because of the no crank situation. If you have the spare ignition key try it & see if anything changes.
