    Hello,

Our car lurched from a dead stop-hesitated and then jumped forward as well as between 20-25 it hesitates, jumps and between 35-45. No codes and the check engine light isn't coming on. Any ideas? It is a 2003 Honda Odyssey with 123,000 miles. The lurching has only happened twice in the past 6 months. The other isn't everytime I am driving it,but it is getting more frequent.

I have the exact same problem on our 2003 Honda Odyssey with 127,000 miles on it . I thought it was the transmission but the shop told me no codes came up when they diagnosed it. I feel as if it is getting worse, but I am not sure what to do next.

I have the same problem with it vibrating like a whell is out of balance around 55-60 mph. I took it to the shop and they replaced the front left wheel sensor and that did not fix the problem. A co-worker sugggested having the motor mounts checked also. Think I will try a front end shop next. Very bizarre.

2001 Honda Odyssey 3000cc engine gave me the "shakes". Turns out one of the Ignition Coils failed rendering the spark plug useless. Change with part number 30520-p8e-a01and now runs normally.

2002 chevy s10 temperature gauge jumping around, feels like automatic transmission slipping at speeds above 60 mph

Do you have an OBDII scanner to check the real temperature? Want to make sure it's not overheating. If it's normal, could be your temperature sensor starting to go out, or ignition switch. Any check engine lights? If so, get the code for me, can go from there. At a constant speed, you sure it wasn't a misfire instead? Check your trans fluid, make sure it's full. I was just in Tahoe, pretty sad not much snow at all.

Would the timing be the cause of my 90 civic lx jumping at 3.5 rpms and not wanting to go over 70 mph

if the bottom injector gos bad or is unpluged it will 2 step at 3.5k that is when the bottom injector turns on so it will jump

My 2003 Honda Civic hybrid vibrates/shakes from 0 to 5 MPH when I accelerate. Should I be concerned?

Yes. Cars are not suppose to shake and rattle and roll until old. Get your hybrid checked out by your professional mechanic at the earliest opportunity before there is damage to your vehicle.

check your trans fluid it could be low. it could be that one of your gears in your trans is going out or a trans mount

Speedometer is jumping around

The speedometer cable needs lubricating. It can be removed from the bottom where it connects to transmission, coated with graphite and reinstalled.
