I dont know if you've found any solutions, my car did the same thing. I was told that it is a build up of gunk that forms over time. The dealer cleaned out this area when I got it tuned up. Sorry I can't tell you where this gunk is but after the tune up it was not a problem.

Is the servo u's if the engine revs increase when braking?

Hi Gordon:
Don't know about servo's but here are two circumstances that I know can be real:
1) gas pedal and brake pedal may share a common linkage component. When the brake pedal is depressed, "drag" on the throttle component could occur, opening the throttle..
2) Brake pedal and gas pedal may be close enough that the sole of your boot can "overlap" and catch the cas pedal at the same time that you are pressing down on the brake. This has happened to me, and has been the documented cause of accidents.
Hope this is of some help.

do you have a transmission problem? if you press on the brake pedel with you left foot and press down far on the gas pedal with your right foot-does the car want to really take off! or does the engine just rev like neutral or slipping with no grip?

Engine revs up down while in idle

If its been without the line for over a year, I Highly doubt it. Look into IAC valve. Most are installed with 2 screws, easy to adjust. Idle Air Control Valve. Look that up, for a start.

check your transmission fluid levels and add if low..also using a white paper towel, wipe some fluid off the stick and see if any contamination is present like blackened gunk and aluminum shavings..this is a sign that the fluid and filter need changed..

Engine over revs throtle sticking T reg lanos

first off.... does the engine over rev on its own? or only after you press the gas pedal?
does your vehicle have a throttle body that is electronic or cable actuated?..if electronic and revs on own could be one of two issues 1) throttle body itself 2)throttle pedal switch on gas pedal)
if cable and revs after pushing gas pedal ..either there is too much carbon built up on the throttle plate or the throttle cable has begun to fail.. remove the intake tube from the air cleaner to the throttle body and inspect

Tach dies and engine stalls sometimes. i can't press the gas pedal too far or the engine revs and the car slows down but doesn't stall.

Sounds as if it is starving for air or fuel. check the air filter and replace fuel filter. if it still does it check the fuel pressure. if it is low replace the fuel pump

When accelerate gas pedal seems to stick causing the car to **** back and engine light is on

ive had the same issue on a daewoo, there will be a screw by the throtal body you need to tighten up a bit. should make you car rev about 50rpm higher, your throtal body is jamming shut most likely, as far as the engine light gos, do you have oil and everythink at the right level
