95 mustang 3.8L CAR HESITATES ON ACCEL,halfway through idle wants to cut back and lose power intermittently. when i press the gas it runs like a scalded dog but still feels like its lost alot of power.when its at idle runs good for a bit then starts to feel like its misfiring then begins running fine again

Yes, fuel starvation would be indicative of good start and idle, but then loses power on the road. Injectors are more likely to affect a variety of RPMs and would often set a check engine light and run roughly (they rarely all go at once) Filter is a decent diagnosis. Replace proactively at 50KM intervals. Bad gas is not unheard of either. While checking, also check the engine air filter.

possible the fuel pump is intermittently going bad. sometimes the fuel filters are getting clogged and this can be symptomatic. i would replace the fuel filters first and then the fuel pump.

Its a hot start issue.

Can be related to low fuel pressure or problem with crank sensor.

Check the catalytic converter. As the engine heats it up the gunk expands which will cause the problems you are explaining.

it sounds like a stun gun?? you are losing spark, get it in a dark place or at night and look under the hood for the lost spark, spray water on the cap and wires, youll find it

add some injector cleaner in ur gas

Try replacing Oxygen sensor (top of exhaust pipe just rear of engine; 22mm ring-spanner job after cutting wires); though normally comes up with Code 1 on the MIL, this is the right bunch of symptoms.

Did you check earth connection of electric system?

Check your Idle air control motor, notorioius for causeing this problem. Hope this helps!
