Hello, I have a 1987 Ford f150 with a 5.0 engine, I did a stupid thing of crossing the wires on the battery to boast it off resulting in burning the fuse link up. I have replace the fuse link, alternator , the two wire leads from the alternator, and the new alternator does not charge, does anyone have a diagram to show me sthe way the wires are suppose to br? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, some models may have an external regulator. Check with your local parts chain to verify you do not have an external regulator. If you do, it is probably fried.
