Why do you not want LEDs? I assume you have tried your local GM dealer. You may have to go to a auto recycling yard (junkyard) and get a used one.

Led's can sometimes have adverse reactions to the vehicles eletrical system, and since im not running led tail lights, id just prefer to have stock 3rd brake lights. I cant believe that NOBODY makes these as an OEM Aftermarket part. Only leds >< very frustrating.

Is there a fuse for the third brake light 2001 GMC 1500 4x4 crew cab?

no it uses the same circuit the brake lights run off of. if the brake lights on the rear of the truck work and not the 3rd brake light then replace the bulb, check power and ground at the bulb socket.

I have a 2004 silverado. My cargo light isn't getting any power. My third light works fine and when i reverse the harness the cargo lights work. I'm assuming its in the wiring. Do the two wir

There should be 12 volts on the orange wire at the bulbs. The switch controls the ground side of the circuit. There should be 12 volts on the blue w/white wire at the switch. The switch will ground that wire and complete the circuit and the cargo lights will turn on.

to check the switch you would unplug it and check for continuity between the pins that the blue w/wire wire and black wire go to.

Trailer tail lights

I have this same problem with my truck. The U haul guys and I tried and tested every scenario, leaving out hard wiring behind the plug (where the adapter goes). I haven't tried it as I don't ever pull anything, however it can't to too hard to do.
