The trunk opening botton of the key and the door of my 1999 mercedes benz 320 s is not functioning, also the signal right is not bright enough as usual. These two symtems came together which made me think it is a fuse. The problem is I dont know where is the fuse box and which fuse is the one related. and where it effect the computer if I change the fuse.
It wont affect the computer and the fuse box will either be under the hood or on the drivers side under the dash. there will be a panel telling u what fuse goes to what

Has to go on a scanner to see what isn't working. The control module could be receiving the signal. This could be the controller or a bad wire. No communications between computers. Even doors have computers in them.
You may be able to unlock the trunk from the door lock pump under the back seat. Remove the rear seat bottom and the insulation from the right side. You'll see the battery and a foam box. The door lock pump (PSE) is in the foam box. You need to remove the vacuum line for the trunk latch (labeled RTR or RHR on the PSE pump) and apply some air pressure to it to unlock the trunk. You should then be able to open the trunk normally, unless the trunk lock key tumbler is in the lock position, then you need a key to get in.
it's possibly faulty door lock, some time can be broken door handle first check door handle and if it's not broken faulty door lock, need to replace door lock, is this information helped you?
I purchased a MB CLK 320 and set the radio frequency and successfully put the freq in memory, however, the radio blinks tthe freq. Is this normal or do I have to enter another key to stop the radio from blinking? Ed Massachusetts
