As far as towability is concerned you can do one of two things:

1 - Put it on a tow dolly (since it's a front wheel drive car)

2 - Get a Lube Pump. These can run around $930 to $999. You can view more information about the lube pumps if you click here.

Equipment:

If you don't use a tow dolly, you'll need the following:

You'll need a tow bar, which you can view one if you click here.

You'll need a baseplate to attach to your frame, and the tow bar. I don't see one available for your car by Roadmaster Inc, or Blue OX. You'll have to go to a certified welder and have one fabricated for you. Just make sure you pick out your tow bar so they know where to make the attachment points.

Hope this helps!

How can I tow a 1999 dodge intrepid

It would work best on a tow dolly. I imagine that has an automatic transmission. Its a front wheel drive so you want the drive tires off the ground if you want the least amount of grief. *** Make sure your dolly swivels or you will be sorry.

Parked my Celica in the underground carpark at work. Hit the electric locks and now the car wont open. Car is on a slight angle. Have put in a new battery, but still not working. Alarm will go off if I...

The fuse to the power door lock/unlock motors has blown. In order to get into the car and start it,
can't you just unlock the door with the key - then start it with the same key?
In the worst case, disconnecting the battery will disable the car alarm, so it can be towed without
the alarm blaring.

I am looking for something to tow behind my motorhome. I have found a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport automatic 2WD. Can it be towed 4 wheels down without disconnecting the driveshaft?

2 wheel drive vehicles can be towed with all four whells on the ground for extended distances. Chrysler recommends a max speed of 30 MPH, but I know these vehicles can be towed at higher MPH. The 4x4 model Jeeps are the vehicles that are not recommended to be towed with all for wheels on the ground, but I know this too has also been done, but with drive shaft removal.
