Hi David. There are usually 3 possible scenerios. I recommend trying another key if you have one. A diagnostic may be required to make sure the key is valid, the EWS and DME are aligned, and if the EWS is recieving a valid signal. The key and EWS are the two most common failures. If you replace the EWS, it must be coded and aligned to the vehicle. Greg

The calipers should NOT leak. They are simply worn out.

Replace or rebuild them immediately, this is a very dangerous situation.

Do NOT drive the vehicle until you have fixed the brakes 100% !!!

CHECK & MAKE SURE THAT NONE OF THE PLUG WIRES HAVE COME OFF ON THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP,OR THE PLUGS,ALSO MAKE SURE NONE OF THEM ARE ARKING ANYWHERE,TRY THAT AND WRITE BACK IF THATS NOT THE PROBLEM.

You could try a Salvage yard if you know what it looks like. Then I would think the Dealer may have a harness and experience with Ford radios. Radio Shack maybe, then last would be a Stereo shop but you need to know if they are a good installer. You would not want electrical problems after they work on it.

the easyiest way is to use a slide hammer but a crow bar will do the trick as well.but you first must remove it from the spindle.step 1 remove the axle nut in the spindle.step2 remove the upper strut rod retaining bolts to allow you to pivot the spindle{this may also require you to remove the tie rods and swaybar end links.Step 3 pry between the axle and transmission.there will be a lot of force because there is a retaing ring inside the transmission.istalation is reverse of removal.any more info needed please feel free to email me at [email protected] good luck

Yes you can adjust the linkage. Go below and you will see where it attaches to the tranny. You will either have a cable or a rod connection.
