So, I followed all the direction from this page (http://www.fixya.com/cars/t6943120-need_replace) as well as another post that said just about the same thing and, can't get my@$%# alternator out. Any suggestions?

Click on the following: free, direct Link. It has several Diagrams including the Serpentine Belt Diagram for your 1993 Mazda 626 2.5L DOHC V6. It has the 2.0L DOHC 4-Cyl Diagrams as well as Instructional and Directional Diagrams that will help you.
Click on the following direct Link. It has some of the Timing Belt Diagrams that you will need. Plus additional Instruction and Directional Diagrams you should use.
As far as "how", with this type forum - it would literally take several dozen pages of instructions - from start to finish. I would strongly suggest buying a Haynes or Chilton Manual available at most auto parts stores. They cost $20-$25. These include specifics including Torque Specifications of each and every Bolt or Nut.
