It is hard to tell without hearing your noise but you may have a steering shaft making some noise. They are notorious for it. GM came out with an updated version of it. It makes more of a clunking noise and not a popping noise though. It is not unsafe just annoying if that is your problem. They are about $100 and pretty easy to change and only available from a dealer I believe. You may have a ball joint making some noise. You should be able to take it to a reputable alignment or suspension shop and they should be able to check out your ball joints and suspension parts for you.

I want to turn my emergency brakes off

Those are supossed to go off when you put the car in gear aren't they? Push the brake, put the car in drive and bang the pop off. If not there's a lever under there somewhere. It might be way way underneath.

When need to use the 4wd, my truck to the left or right the front drivers wheel makes a popping sound like if it were to have cv axles. It's a 2003 gmc yukon 4x4 it just started happening

You could have a CV joint that has gone bad, or the engagment forks to the front differental is partialy engaged which is causing the popping noise when you go around a corner. Good luck and keep me posted.

Popping sound

Make sure the shocks are reattached at both ends; also if it has coil springs vs torsion bars, they may be twisting upon spring movement. if not sure, you can squirt some oil on the bottom of the coil springs to test. if the popping stops then the springs may need repositioning (twisting to the proper spots) or get an after market pad to place underneath the spring where it contacts the lower "a"frame. good luck
