The Crank position sensor is located on the drivers side front of the engine below the AC compressor and picks up its signal from the front crankshaft pulley trigger ring. In the picture below is a technican grasping the connection to the sensor and the sensor directly in front of the connector.

I have a 1992 lincoln town car an i wus woundering if any one- could tell me wat my problem might b i can start it and drive it for a day or less then my engine will stall an then it wont start for a day...

Sounds like something electrical, but you will have to narrow down the possibilities to proceed.
When it won't start, you need to find out if you are loosing spark to the plugs or fuel. Then go from there with your diagnosis.

well i dont know what year is but the crank position sensor is locate it behind crank pulley in order to have acces to the sensor you ne to remove the pulley first. Note when the crank sensor is bad there should be no fire at your sparks. before keep spending more money dont know if you checked for gas coming to the engine.

My interor lights will not shut off in my 1992 licoln town car

U will need to have the dealer test the Lighting control module to see which door latch switch is sticking and keeping the lights on, I know the problem well, there are 4 door s so if u do it u will need to remove all four door panels and replace the switches one by one (very hard to replace, they are attached to the door latch) until u find the problem switch, the dealer can ID the problem switch with an electronic Ford scan tool.
