Car drove just fine Sunday. Tuesday would not start. Security system sound was disconnected when car was purchased, although I was told the entire system was disconnected. System has engaged and will not disengage so that the car will start. All other systems are on, battery is charged, tank 1/2 full. Have had no problems in 2 years I have owned the car. Fuses have been checked and they are all ok. Spark plugs were recently changed as was the air filter.

code p0320 refers to cam shaft position (CKP) sensor/engine speed (RPM) sensor--circuit malfunction=== causes --wiring--CKP/RPM sensor ---ECM
because the engine runs ok until it is on cruise control I would be investigating the RPM sensor for a fault
The cruise control takes its control from the RPM sensor and if that circuit is interminable the the cruise control doesn't know what rpms to maintain.
when you turn the key can you hear the fuel pump hum just before you start. Immobilisers and knock sensors will disable a fuel pump. It could just be a faulty pump. Some knock sensors can be reset others have to be changed.
If you can here the fuel pump then look to your HT leads, distributor cap and plugs, in that order. It's most likely the HT leads
is the security light flashing or on,,u mite have to turn ignition on (but not all the way to start) leave on for 15 minuets,,then turn off,,then try to start,,if the security system is on,,,,it will not start,, hoped it helped,,
Sounds like the computer is in lock down. My sister has a 99 cavalier and used a cut key to start her car and a couple days later the car would not start. Tried everything then had to get a gm computer to reset the ecu. I have heard about the anti theft systems in GM cars that can cause this as well. Look into it if you cant figure anything out. There might be a code to input into the radio to take it off as well.
